This Patina Model 115 Upgraded Student Cello Outfit is the ideal instrument package for student cellists. The cello itself features a laminated spruce top with a flamed laminated maple back, sides and scroll. It features an antique shaded varnish which is as durable as it is beautiful. Although this cello is fully-laminated, it is the only laminated cello on the market with a hand graduated top and back - not pressed. It has a fully hand graduated construction that promotes an improved sound and resonance!
This cello also features an ebony fingerboard, ebony pegs, a lightweight composite tailpiece with four fine tuners, genuine inlaid purfling on the front and back, and it comes set up with D'Addario Prelude strings. The Patina Model 115 cello is outfitted with a soft padded gig bag and a graphite composite bow with genuine horsehair and includes a polishing cloth, rosin and name tag.
