 This Yamaha YCL-255 Upgraded Student Bb Clarinet combines state-of-the-art production expertise with high-end Yamaha clarinet features. The result is an outstanding entry-level instrument that delivers a warm, resonant tone that is remarkably similar to that of a wood clarinet. It features an ABS resin body with a matte finish that imitates the look of a wood clarinet and an adjustable thumb-rest with a neck strap ring that allows for even those with small hands to easily hold the instrument.

This item is categorized as Used / Demo Stock but it is still in MINT CONDITION - like new!  This clarinet comes in a NEW case with a NEW mouthpiece, ligature and moutpiece cap, as well as all NEW accessories including a cleaning swab, polishing cloth, cork grease and (2) starter reeds.  Demo stock simply means that the instrument was used as a display to promote Yamaha instruments or for other promotional purposes.  We only have a few of these available and this special offer will be removed once we sell out.

 The newly designed adjustable thumb-rest fits a variety of hand sizes, allowing the player to develop proper playing technique. Further, a strap ring enables the instrument to be held with less effort. A silver soldered ring and firmer screws give this new feature excellent durability.

 

A new solid and durable ABS resin bell made only of top quality materials results in an improved response and overall lighter instrument. The bell's resonance chamber aids intonation in lower notes and improves projection.
