The Yamaha YAS-480 Alto Saxophone with a design influenced by high-end Yamaha saxophones, the YAS-480 features highly accurate intonation, a warm tone and a quick response. It is lightweight yet durable, and comes with a professional-quality neck for a more mature quality of sound based on the original YAS-62 professional saxophone neck is designed for improved tone and response. The redesigned octave key system gives players the flexibility to choose between the included 62 style neck and those designed for the Custom Z and Custom EX Yamaha saxophones (sold separately).

A delicate and visually appealing hand-engraved pattern added to the bell adds a personal and artistic touch.
A newly redesigned octave key system allows players a flexibility to choose between custom designed necks for the Z and EX Yamaha Saxophones (sold separately) and the 62 style neck included with the instrument.
Adjustable screw cap stoppers allow for professional-style technical adjustments of the separate key guards.
