This Yamaha YCL-450N Intermediate Bb Clarinet incorporates some of the distinct qualities of Yamaha's professional and custom clarinets. One of these features is a 65mm barrel design that produces a focused tone and quick response. Players looking to "step-up" will also benefit from the 450N's "blue" steel spring material, sculptured nickel-plated keys and straight tone holes with tapered undercut.
Featuring a bell shape and barrel design similar to that of the professional V Series, the YCL-450N offers a surprisingly 'professional' sound with an easy response. The new bell design gives improved intonation and projection, especially in the all-important lower register, while the new barrel enhances the 450N's response, flexibility and tonal focus.
This item is categorized as Used but it is still in MINT CONDITION - like new! This clarinet comes in a NEW case with a NEW mouthpiece, ligature and moutpiece cap, as well as all NEW accessories including a cleaning swab, polishing cloth, cork grease and (2) starter reeds. Demo stock simply means that the instrument was used as a display to promote Yamaha instruments or for other promotional purposes.
